Home cooking restaurant with efficient and smiling service and exceptional value for money in Lille.
This restaurant is adjacent to the famous and famous hotel l'Hermitage Gantois. Despite the luxury printing that emerges from the place, prices are completely reasonable. L'Tavern Gantois offers a perfectly correct formula and fresh, well prepared and varied products. The staff were friendly and helpful! Several rooms are available and if you come into a group, you will enjoy the rooms of the bottom, which will allow you to be between you in a typical Flemish charm! On the map there are, of course, dishes made from local products such as: the flamiche at maroilles, the house potjevleesch, the traditional Flemish stew, the Welsh… But also more traditional dishes such as grilled mudflap, veal rognon sauce Madeira… Here everything is home and it feels like it. The value for money is exceptional. Do not hesitate to eat there if you go to Lille!

C'est notre première et probablement dernière visite dans cet estaminet, la proximité avec l'Hermitage Gantois était pourtant prometteuse.
Peu de choix sur la carte (risotto aux artichauts, croquettes de crevettes, carbonade flamande ou côte de boeuf) ce qui laissait espérer raffinement et qualité.
Pourtant la cuisine n'était pas extraordinaire, les assiettes peu copieuses et juste tièdes pour certaines, et nous n'avons pas réussi à être servis servis simultanément à notre table!
Le service souriant est venu atténuer (un peu) notre déception, mais la soirée passée ne vaut clairement pas le prix réglé à l'addition!
Bien décevant pour cette première terrasse depuis des mois, dommage
Le personnel est tellement chaleureux que nous aurions presque réservé une chambre à l’hôtel ! Bravo
