Restaurant in Lille offering succulent Moroccan cuisine.

After more than 30 years on the Rue des Poste, Mohamed Zelmat, the master of the places, changed his address, but not his values or the quality of his kitchen. It is at 165 rue des Poste that the Mamounia welcomes you in an always enchanting setting. On the map? An important choice of tajines (about) and all the know-how necessary to succeed other traditional Moroccan dishes: pastilla, couscous and a wide choice of pastries… Everything is succulent. Go on the side of the wine list: Coolers wine cellars, bottled in Morocco… no lack of taste. The house sometimes welcomes oriental dancers for the pleasure of guests who enjoy the chic and elegant surroundings of the restaurant. For the large groups, a room is just a few steps away from the restaurant. Since 1979, La Mamounia has made us share the culinary riches of this beautiful country of Morocco.

Had Mamounia, I intended to speak from... the years? Yes, something!

When it was very cold this evening, Friday, our cheerful frozen strip took refuge in this restaurant! Without holding, there was a table immediately! Good point!

The decor is neat: fabric wallpaper covering the walls, large tables with an immaculate tablecloth, big plateaus ceramic blue and white. And the benches very comfortable to sit!

One of the waiters came to enjoy our order nicely, I chose tajine with candied lemons, olives with chicken. Served in the typical dish, smells that emerged some divine. The melting chicken, fragrant lemons... I of still! One of my friends took the cuckoos, I tasted, and it also was very successful. Another good point their wines are very good.

Dessert: a selection of Oriental pastries accompanied by mint tea.

Everything to tell you that La Mamounia is an excellent address, and honour to the moroccan cuisine!
total scenery, was raw leave in Morocco; very pleasant staff and of course delicious tagine and couscous; no false note; very good value for money
