In just a few short years, Friterie Meunier has become a veritable institution. Ideally located on the Grand-Place, which had been deprived of a French fry shop for many decades, Meunier is much appreciated by tourists who want to taste the real Northern French fries. But the place is also the first port of call for the locals when they want to eat croquettes (the house specialty) or, for those with a sweet tooth, an American. With two other French fry shops in Lille (Place de Béthune and Place de la Gare), the success of quality and taste is undeniable!
