LA PÂTE BRISÉE
Restaurant offering excellent homemade burgers in a warm setting in Lille.
As its name suggests, the house speciality is shortcrust pastry and especially the delicious pies with northern flavours concocted by the chef. On the menu: the traditional goyère or maroilles tart, but also the flamingo with leeks and bacon. All good stuff. The chef also offers excellent homemade burgers, including the Chti Burger... maroilles, of course. The menu gives pride of place to the classics of local gastronomy with, in particular, delicious welshs on the savoury side and irresistible brown sugar tarts and creams (also known as "vergeoise") on the sweet side. Add to this a warm and cosy setting and you have one of the city's cult addresses!

The choice was naturally: shortcrust pastry! Specialist pies sweet or savoury houses this establishment is an ideal place to find yourself many around a good beer. The decor in the pub-style brings a retro touch to the place.
