Restaurant with terrace on the Grand Place offering good fries and various dishes
Located in the heart of Lille, on the Grand Place and just next to the Old Lille, the location is ideal. For a break or a complete meal, the Peacock welcomes you with open arms. The atmosphere is friendly. The menu is traditional and regional. You will find in particular: good fries, meat and fish, homemade smoked salmon, hot dogs, croque-monsieur.... The daily suggestions enrich the menu according to the arrivals. On the menu, you will also find a beautiful choice of wines, carefully selected by the owner. A terrace is heated for smokers. The best part: the Peacock d'Or stays open late if you have a late craving.

This restaurant also offers a double Welsch, considering the Welsch unique, it must be a normal welsch with a second egg over. And for the modest sum of €22 (it is not the crisis for everyone!)
Let us to dessert, chocolate fondant with custard! Then the similar, nothing to do with a soft... that looks rather a soft chocolate cake. Do not imagine to receive a chocolate cake with melted chocolate inside if not to suit you fallen from very high!
The service is as a poor and the waiters are not friendly...
This place has nevertheless an advantage for smokers: the terrace! If you want smoking then terrace with a beer ok but not more... to eat, do not hesitate to take a few steps moreover and a restaurant worthy of the name!
