Welcome to Damien Laforce (and Marcel, his Weimar hound)! The young chef defends a committed cuisine, but above all, a gourmet and affordable one! It all started with his desire to share the history and treasures of Flanders' heritage in dishes deeply rooted in the land. A fan of hunting and gathering, Damien Laforce also knows how to highlight unique finds. Before the meal, the chef has also imagined a space, the "avant-counter", where you can taste good things to share in a friendly atmosphere.

Un de nos convives est allergique, malgré nos précisions à la réservation et lors de notre arrivée cela n’a pas été pris en compte …….. Très grave !!!! Le chef n’a pas été à la hauteur lors de notre altération sur ce point qui aurait pu finir aux urgences

Vegetarians or anyone who has any dietary requirements AVOID. We booked this for an anniversary meal, when you make the booking you can give notes. Since there's no menu on their website we specified one of us was vegetarian. We arrived at our booking at 730, and the place was completely shut, it looked closed which was concerning. We came back 10 minutes later. The guy said he tried to contact us by phonecall (he didnt, and if this was the case and you couldn't reach us then why not email, or text). In the end there was literally not one dish for a vegetarian. The guy told us the fish was 'ethically sourced' and that we should just try it, which is very patronising and disrespectful. I appreciate that this is a meat/fish restaurant - but that's on you to contact us first. We left a note, you didn't reach out to us. Thankfully we found a table at Ginko which has a full vegetarian tasting menu as well as great meat and seafood options, and had a far better atmosphere. Did not like the dismissive attitude, in 2023 a Michelin recommened restaurant should be able to make some vegetarian dishes with several days notice.

Too bad for the neighbouring table who kept complaining and making up stories (see the comments below from a lady called Marie). I had to shush them at some point because they were making such a scene.
