Au Coeur de Lille is a gem and well worth discovering. The property is an 19th century townhouse stylishly and elegantly furnished The room is spacious, comfortable and well provided for with plenty of hanging / storage space. A nice touch is the small fridge to keep bottles of water cool. The bathroom is very well equipped with modern facilities. Veronique is the perfect host, friendly, welcoming and helpful with useful advice as to places to visit, restaurants and shops. Breakfasts are just so good including fresh fruit salads, homemade yoghurt and jams, bread and croissant and cereals always ending with (during our stay) a chocolate cake, chocolate mousse and lastly a panna cotta, again all home made. Au Coeur de Lille is very well located, a five minute walk to the Citadel, ten minutes to the Old Town and also to the Grand Place. Lille Europe is about twenty minutes away.. The website accurately reflects the actualité.
