Whether it be in the gallery of Frédéric, rue de la Halle, or the one of Jacqueline just two steps away on the Avenue du Peuple-Belgian, the works are contemporary. Exhibitions are always varied, often renewed and very diverse: If you go through the gallery, you will have the opportunity to discover paintings on canvas, engravings but also lithographs and art photography… Sculpture also holds a rather important place. These galleries always exhibit coherent works, at the forefront of contemporary art trends. In September 2017, the gallery will host an exhibition dedicated to Martin Loume. Behind this name is Jean-Louis Brochen, a former president of Lille! Throughout his life, in parallel with his profession of lawyer, Martin Loume collected Posters glued to walls around the world to reuse them as raw material and starting point of his canvases called "walls of walls". What? Visually stunning plastic works and questions about our world and history. An artist who has his place at Galerie Frédéric Storme, a place at the forefront of contemporary art!
