QUENTIN CARNAILLE
Young creator and artist Lillois (but born in Roubaix!) spotted by the watchmaking and fashion circles, Quentin Carnaille performs sculptures that take shape following a deep reflection on the concept of time. The complexity of these sculptures allows him to address the concepts of time, ruin, order and disorder and therefore work on increasingly technical projects. Its favourite material is that of the old watch mechanisms, raised in structures to find a new life, although not giving an hour. Quentin Carnaille, who no longer has a physical shop but now sells around the world, started by creating very beautiful purely ornamental watches, des, rings, headline buttons, before dedicating himself to his sculptures and paintings. Each object is a unique model patiently shaped. A fascinating work with a magnificent result.
