LE PUB
In the event of a long wait for a train, the Lille Europe station can look somewhat eccentric in the city centre of the capital of Flanders. Of course, many fast-food brands are present on the outskirts of Euralille just a few metres away. But for those who would prefer to wait in the space of the station, the Pub appears as an excellent solution. There is something almost anachronistic in this wooden structure, with its stained mouldings and stained glass windows, in the midst of the very refined and modern train station Lille Europe. By entering this small facility, you feel strangely more comfortable, whether it's a breakfast, a brunch, a meal, a snack, or simply a blow while waiting for your train! The map is surprisingly well stocked in beer cocktails or wines, as well as in dishes (beef tartar, grilled tender, seabream fillet) and sweets (apple jam, mango pie, green lemon, pancake). A good address for travellers with little time, and whose discreet charm would make us almost forget that this pub is located in a station hall.
