Imagined by a team of gentle lunatics called La Film(e) Équipe, the festival is a unique event in Wazemmes (and now in Hellemmes). Its principle is very simple: the team asks the inhabitants of the neighbourhood to choose their favourite film and then to organise a free screening at home! On the viewer's side, you reserve your seat for the film of your choice and only find out on the D-day when it will be screened. This is how a hundred or so screenings are organized and transformed into moments of surprise, sharing and emotion. Sandrine Bonnaire, Dominique Besnehard and François Berléand sponsored the first editions of this small neighbourhood festival that has become big!
