A popular festival that plunges the Wazemmes district into a non-stop party for 15 days! A colorful event!

The Wazemmes l'Accordéon festival has restored the accordion to its former glory. From popular tunes to the most contemporary arrangements, every spring the accordion brings a new vibrancy to the Wazemmes district. Concerts are held in the cafés and restaurants of this popular and cosmopolitan corner of the capital of Flanders. The event attracts some 25,000 curious onlookers and traditional music fans, who come to celebrate local artists and those from a little further afield, who perform at the Maison Folie de Wazemmes in a supercharged atmosphere.
