The largest flea market in Europe, this great popular and friendly festival welcomes several million visitors each year. Alongside the professional antique dealers and second-hand dealers, there are also stalls where local people sell their treasures. From now on, a children's flea market and a comic book flea market are also organised. But the braderie is much more than just an eldorado for bargain hunters. Concerts, animations, villages of associations, half-marathon...: the city vibrates and comes alive throughout the weekend. A popular event for locals and tourists alike!

Il fût un temps où la braderie de Lille débutait le vendredi soir pour ne se terminer que le lundi en fin d'après-midi. De nombreux lillois avaient alors leur journée offerte par leur employeur. Autrefois, les emplacements n'étaient pas réservés mais font aujourd'hui toujours l'objet de toutes les convoitises. Les exposants sont de tous les temps arrivés des jours à l'avance, dormant dans leur voiture ou leur camionnette pour garder les quelques mètres carrés délimités par des marquages sur le sol. Les meilleurs endroits où chiner de véritables antiquités restent l'Esplanade et le parc Jean-Baptiste Lebas. Cette année, une institution lilloise manquera à l'appel, le restaurant "Aux Moules" fermé récemment et son célèbre tas de moules filmé tous les ans par les journalistes du JT.

Une des plus grande braderies d'Europe, à faire au moins une fois dans sa vie! La foule est là, il faut l'aimer et apprécier piétiner des heures. Mais l'expérience demeure unique. L'ambiance est bon enfant et il ne faut hésiter à se renseigner sur les meilleures zones où faire des affaires.
