Among the many Christmas markets in the North, the one in Lille is often cited and much appreciated, with nearly 80 chalets on site.

On the Grand-Place, it is impossible to miss the two great symbols of Christmas in Lille: the famous Ferris Wheel and its neighbor, the gigantic fir tree draped in brilliant colors! On Place Rihour, you can discover the charming little Christmas village made up of 90 chalets displaying gifts, Santons, decorations and festive products, not forgetting of course the de rigueur sweets. Readings of Christmas tales, face painting workshops, mini-concerts and a visit from Santa Claus: the magic is in full swing! At Christmas, the whole city is dressed in lights.

Les stands sont variés et les exposants très agréables... mais le marché est vraiment petit pour une ville de la taille de Lille. C’est d’autant plus frappant quand on compare avec le marché de noël d’Arras !

Le marché de Noél de Lille place Rihour, je le trouve plutôt décevant par rapport à celui d'Arras qui est beaucoup plus grand et beaucoup plus beau.
Les différents chalets proposent des produits que l'on retrouve partout ailleurs sur les autres marché de Noél...

Quelle belle et grande place ! Durant le marché de Noël, on y retrouve ambiance, musique, animations, grand 'roue, des échoppes proposant des produits régionaux. Tout le monde y semble heureux - ça fait du bien ! Une visite à la grande librairie qui se situe sur la place s'impose, bien évidemment ! Lille est vraiment une belle ville !
