Discover Lille's 1st urban dance school inspired by Africa, the Caribbean and Brazil. Founded by Fischer Jeannine, the school has been in existence for 3 years now. These dances convey a state of mind, gestures, life situations, a certain festive spirit, freedom, sensuality, joy and sharing. They may borrow from tradition, but they are firmly rooted in modernity and echo social reality. These are popular dances as we like them, in the sense that they express all the creativity and artistic ebullience that is born and flourishes in the heart of cities, in Africa (West and Central), the Caribbean and Brazil. They are energetic, enduring, jerky and swaying. They give free rein to creativity.
Because the whole idea here is to connect with the energy of the earth, to free your body and mind through dance, to dance from the heart, to let yourself go, to liberate your sensuality!
Dances taught: Afro-urban, ndombolo, coupé décalé, kuduro, Llazonto. Caribbean & Brazilian: soca, axé samba and samba funk. What a program!
