URFA (UNION DES RANDONNEURS FLANDRE ARTOIS)
Fancy a little tour? We've got you covered! Founded in 1935, URFA was one of the first bicycle touring clubs in France. Activities include weekly outings around Lille on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Sometimes more adventurous routes are proposed, such as the Diagonales de France, the brevets montagnards... The list goes on. It has three prestigious hikes: the Monts de Flandres brevet, created in 1950, the Flandres-Artois hike, created in 1952 (organized in odd-numbered years) and the Lille-Hardelot hike dating from 1981. The club organizes walks and bike rides throughout the year in Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Belgium. See the club's website for details of upcoming events.
