The city hotel is also a beautiful building, which the belfry is visiting for the panorama it offers on Lille. The city hotel was built at the beginning of the th century by the architect Dubuisson according to the Flemish tradition despite a modern material for the time: reinforced concrete. Inside, a large 107 m long hall and an exceptional collection of contemporary works of art adorn stairs, corridors and municipal halls.
