The Maison Régionale de l'Environnement et des Solidarités is an essential place in Lille. With its network of 125 associations, MRES works for the protection of nature, the environment, education, sustainable development and the defence and promotion of human rights. As a tool in the service of democracy, MRES wants to transform society in a sustainable way. Conferences, events, citizen training are all ways to achieve this. A living reception centre, MRES also has a Repair Café, an energy information area and a documentation centre with more than 19,000 references. In this way, every citizen can find all the answers to their questions.
