A European hyper-hub, Euralille is thethird largest business district in France. Designed by the architect and urban planner Rem Koolhas around the two TGV stations, it is the tertiary sector showcase of the Lille metropolis, a symbol of its economic transformation. 16,000 jobs and nearly 200 companies are currently listed in the extended Euralille perimeter. The convention centre, Westfield-Euralille shopping centre, hotels and art centre make it a privileged area for business tourism. Its nearly 2,300 housing units make it a popular place to live for employees.
