The Direccte (Regional Directorate of Enterprise, Competition, Consumption, Labour and Employment) is a regional directorate with the prefect of the region, to ensure coordinated pilotage of public policies of economic development, employment, labour, and market regulation. It accompanies businesses and workers in their activity, in accordance with social relations and labour law, to better protect consumers. Its accompanying role in access to employment for young people, senior citizens and persons in situations of disability remains unknown, although priority for the economic radiation of the High-de-France.
