BIBLIOTHÈQUES MUNICIPALES
In total, there are in Lille ten municipal libraries: the library of Jean-Lévy, the Odyssey (Médiathèque media library associated with the Lille municipal library since July 2016) and eight district libraries in Fives, Bois-Blanc, Lille-Sud, Mills, Wazemmes, Old Lille, Faubourg de Béthune and Saint-Maurice-Pellevoisin. They work in a network and you can make a document other than where you borrowed it. Registration is required on presentation of an identity piece and proof of domicile of less than 3 months. The subscription is valid for one year. It is free for Les, Hellemmois, Lommois, job seekers or persons in RSA, high school students in Lille-Hellemmes-Lomme and those under 12 years of age. Subscription allows you to borrow up to 30 documents and gives access to many resources on the website: music, video, press, Assimil method for language learning, preparation of the road code or school support, for example.
