MAISON RÉGIONALE DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT ET DES SOLIDARITÉS (MRES)
Housed in an outdated old college of geography, MRES welcomes visitors seeking information about nature, environment, sustainable development, solidarity or human rights. Relying on an active network of more than 100 associations, MRES is a key player in regional associative life. Hosting the headquarters of several associations, MRES also manages the specialized Regional Information and Documentation centre (CSIR) and the Regional Centre for Documentation and information for Development and international solidarity (CRDTM). As a valuable foundation of the different activities of the MRES network, these two centres treat and make available documentary information, while developing several tools to facilitate the educational animations of the other associative actors. Each year, MRES and these two documentation centres organize a regional forum for educational tools on sustainable development. To enter the MRES is already to acknowledge militancy!
