CHRIST CHURCH LILLE
Christ Church is the only church in Lille to officer the English masses. Proudly wearing its red brick suit, this church was built in 1870 by British residents of the city. At this time, the peak of the textile, the English industrialists come to Lille. But then they have no place to gather and gather. They therefore decide to create Christ Church, which belongs to the Anglican church of the Kingdom of England. Since then, masses have never ceased and the church still hosts many faithful who wish to gather in the language of Shakespeare. But it also welcomes visitors and curious who would like to know more about the Anglican church and its missions or who simply would like to discover the typical architecture of the church and its furniture in solid oak coming directly from England.
