CENTRE D'ART SACRÉ DE LILLE
Center d'Art Sacré de Lille, in the modern part of the crypt, housing a collection of works by contemporary artists.
Little known to the public, the Centre d'Art Sacré de Lille is nestled in the modern part of the crypt of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Treille cathedral. Let yourself be guided by the works of the collection of Gilbert Delaine, a former engineer born in the Pas-de-Calais, who died in 2013, and marked by the spirituality of the Emmaus companions. No less than 124 paintings, sculptures, photographs, stained glass windows... by contemporary artists such as Warhol, Combas, or Fontana make up the Delaine collection.
