Lille has a place entirely dedicated to photography... and what a place! A centre for resources, distribution, exchanges and experiments, the Institute opens its doors to all and presents photography in all its forms and uses. We loved wandering through the different spaces of this former mansion and discovering exhibitions that encourage us to question our relationship with the image and its link with our way of understanding the world.

Institut de la Photographie

Situé dans le vieux Lille, l'institut pour la photographie est récemment née de la volonté du président de région Hauts de France. Le bâtiment est très vaste avec une cour fermée ou l'on peut s'y restaurer, plusieurs salles pouvant accueillir plusieurs expositions à la fois et même une bibliothèque.
