PAINTING MUSEUM
Only a few metres separate the painting museum of Charpont, located behind the town hall and inaugurated in 1974, the Arts Alley. This proximity owes nothing at random since this street name was chosen to preserve the memory of the first painters who settled in this village of the valley of the Eure. The majority of the works attached in the two small galleries of the museum - one of them served as a municipal council hall - come from these artists attracted to the calm of the countryside. Among them, fans will recognize Bonnet, Caucaunier, or Polat.
