The history of the Crowned Ox has crossed the centuries, and the medieval hostel has become a famous hotel in Chartres over time. Destroyed by the German bombings in 1940, this hotel was revised a few years after the war, thanks to the Peillon family, which, since the beginning of the century and from generation to generation, has made this sign alive. The reception is very good and the rooms, most renovated in 2010-2011, are of great beauty. Some have seen on the cathedral, others on the courtyard, but all are flowering and decorated with poetry.
