The premère thing that hits the visitor when you arrive close to the médiathèque of Chartres, it is the building that houses it. This former Hotel des Poste features architectural details combining Gothic influences and Art Deco with two high towers and arcades. Wrought iron shapes representing the letters PTT or RF recall the old vocation of the building. Inside, the library offers all types of multimedia books and services. On the fifth floor, the rotunda allows you to discover one of the most beautiful views of Chartres, overlooking the place des Des. Finally, the Apostrophe regularly hosts exhibitions.
