ST. PETER'S CHURCH
Built between the th and th centuries, on the site of a more ancient Benedictine abbey, Saint Peter's Church is remarkable for its Gothic architecture and magnificent stained-glass windows of the th century. Recently renovated, its interior is particularly bright, and the calm reigns in the silent charm of this church. And if there is silence in this place, music is fine: on time, the church hosts concerts of classical music, organ or gospel… and the resonance of the notes on the stone walls is deliciously enchanting. Finally, at nightfall, in summer, Saint Peter's church is dressed in light: illuminated from the outside, its walls are a parent of bright colours, while its stained glass windows are illuminated from the inside… the whole is harmonious, and very aesthetic.
