Communal peat bog located on the edge of the state forest of Senonches in Manou.

Located on the edge of the Senonches state forest, within the perimeter of the Perche Regional Nature Park, this communal peat bog occupies a small wetland area of 8.5 ha. A subsoil of flint clay and sand and the humid climate have favoured a luxuriant vegetation whose slow decomposition of sphagnum mosses has created this peat bog, by accumulation of peat over the millennia. It is an environment of rich biodiversity! A 1.5 km walking trail with duckboards allows you to discover it and to make beautiful naturalist observations.
