Ferme de la Choltière, located in Orrouer near Chartres, is a Christmas tree nursery. Sébastien and Véronique grow different varieties of fir, including spruce, omorika and nordmann. All fir trees are sold cut as late as possible to guarantee freshness. In addition to fir trees, the farm also offers natural fir wreaths and garlands. Since 2010, the farm has been using Shropshire sheep to maintain the fir plots, in an environmentally-friendly approach.
