Classified historic monument since 1995, Saint Hilaire church is the monument that marks the centre of the village of Chatillon-en-Dunois. Surrounded by wooden houses, a supermarket and an elegant wooden traditional also, the church is visible from afar with a fairly original, rounded bell, reminiscent of a form of arc. Behind Saint-Hilaire, the commune pays tribute to the deportees in the concentration camps during the Second World War: a tree was planted and a stele recalls fighting of the 1940 s.
