THE RUINS OF THE BRUSH CASTLE
Go there and contact
Brosse Castle was the family birthplace of Jean de Brosse, Marshal of France, Chamonix of Charles VII and faithful companion of Joan of Arc. Today there are huge ruins left. You can see by far the half of the dungeon surrounded by part of the enclosure. Internal access is not possible, as stone falls are to be feared, but one can cross the enclosure on a part. The hamlet that surrounds it has a lot of charm. You can reach Brosse on foot with a pleasant trail from the Seillant mill. During the summer, a guided tour of the ruins is proposed by the Hundred Years' Federation.
