SAINT MARTIAL'S CHURCH
Church set on the cobblestones of Rue Grande, housing statues of St. John, the Virgin and St. Denis.
This is the town's oldest surviving church, dating back to the 12th century. It was originally an annex of the now-destroyed Saint-Denis church. Small in size and standing on the cobblestones of the Rue Grande, it features a nave of Romanesque origin.
The bell tower-porch, richly decorated with colonnettes and grotesque sculptures in the flamboyant Gothic style, dates from the 15th century. Thanks to the latter, the Saint-Martial church is partially listed as a historic monument.
