HOUSE OF FOLK ARTS AND TRADITIONS
This museum is located in the old stables of the factory of the park Balsan, restored in an exemplary fashion. It houses collections of traditional objects, paintings and costumes that trace the rural life of Berrichons from 1850 to 1930. The paintings of local painters like Fernand Maillaud, Adam, Paul Street, Charodeau, the Nivet sculptures illustrate all aspects of this peasant life. An open door to the life, the habits and customs of our forgeries, a passage forced to apprehend the life of the nineteenth century in Berry. The visit may be free or guided; It lasts about an hour.
