Parc Balsan was once the property of a wealthy industrialist family who owned a cloth mill and château. The town bought the property and gradually rehabilitated it. This large park of four and a half hectares is a green lung on the banks of the Indre.
A tree survey was carried out to remove the worst trees and replant new ones in 2014 and 2015. Alleys have been redesigned for pedestrians and two-wheelers. The park includes lawns, more rural areas and places to relax.
