A park offering a pleasant place to stroll in the heart of Châteauroux, with a variety of water sports on offer.
Created in 1981 in the heart of the city, the Parc de Belle Isle stretches over 21 ha and offers a pleasant promenade, especially around the lake, late in the afternoon. Since its creation, the trees have taken their place, and the nature has resumed its rights giving the place a natural and peaceful character. Designed for relaxation, it also allows some nautical activities such as bathing (summer supervised), windsurfing and angling. The Castelroussins are happy to find themselves here, on the lawns or at the bar of the summer evenings. A charming and especially very friendly (or even family) place that has its own, all in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
