Atelier Edith Luthier is a pottery manufacturer based in Chitray, in the Berry region of France. The workshop offers a range of utilitarian and decorative stoneware pieces, produced as one-offs or in small series. The pieces are fired in a high-temperature electric kiln, making them extremely sturdy. The manufacturer uses a variety of shaping techniques, such as throwing, slab assembly and pelleting, to offer a wide range of shapes. Pieces are often engobed and decorated with lines created by different techniques, such as sgraffito or engobe inclusion. Pieces intended for food use are glazed with a transparent glaze. The workshop also offers direct sales by appointment.
