The lake is located 6 kilometers east of Eguzon-Chantôme by the D 36 on the left bank. It is a dam lake, built on Creuse and its confluence with Sedelle. An impressive cliffs, it is an unavoidable place. There is an arranged beach, where bathing is monitored daily during the season from 2 p. m. to 7 p. m. The depth of the monitored area varies from 0 to 6 meters, a dive is inside buoys. Many nautical activities are possible on this beautiful dam lake (sailing, tracted buoy, water skiing). A hiking trail allows you to turn around. It offers beautiful views. Bars and restaurants are located in several places (Chambon, Fougères, Crozant…).
