This museum complements the visit of Health, evoking the family of George Sand and his friends. It contains objects that belonged to the family, letters and drafts of George Sand, engravings of his son Maurice and paintings from the school of Crozant (Fernand Maillaud, Paul Street, Henri Kept). It is located in the Donjon dungeon (th) and is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers. One can also admire an astonishing collection of naturalized birds. Educational visits are organized.

Beautiful evocations of George Sand and his son Maurice, all enhanced for a rural museum very well. The painters of the black Valley are well represented and their landscapes deserve your attention. Beautiful unforgettable atmosphere.
