MENOUX CHURCH
The church of the Menoux dates from the nineteenth century. While its neo-Gothic exterior has little interest, it is remarkable for its interior décor. It is entirely decorated with very original paintings, made the Bolivian artist Jorge Carrasco (1919-2006). In the 1970 s, he designed a bright color decor. From ground to ceiling, he traced down sinuous and round motifs that proved fascinating and even hypnotitic. A psychedelic decor. The painter, who lived over thirty years in the Menoux, took eight years to realize this unique decor.
