The pond of Bellebouche is a large body of water where you can swim. This beautiful pond is bordered by sandy beaches and woods where you can enjoy the shade. It is always full in season. But it is also possible to admire, from three observatories placed at the end of the pond, a group of purple herons nesting in the trees. Observatoires du Site de l'Etang de Bellebouche 36290 Mézières-En-Brenne
Le site de l'étang de Bellebouche est un très joli site de l'Indre. Une base de loisirs ainsi qu'un centre de vacances sont également à proximité immédiate de l'étang. Cet étang est grand et offre la possibilité de belles promenades. J'ai pu y voir de nombreux cygnes mais c'est surtout la beauté et la tranquillité des lieux qui sont appréciables. La fin de journée, avec le soleil couchant d'octobre, permet aux amateurs de prendre de jolies photographies, ce que j'ai également essayé de faire.
