LE MOULIN D'ANGIBAULT
It was the mill that inspired George Sand his novel Le Meunier d 'Angibault. In perfect working conditions, the mill mechanism with its timber alloys (of the eighteenth century) is driven by the strength of the water of Vauvre. Meet Grand-Louis who manufactures his flour, stroll along the aisle of Les Chênes so dear to the "good lady of Nohant", stand up in this place which has kept the soul of the writer. Everything is intact, breathed, open eyes, you're in 1844 and George Sand talks with Angibault Miller. The mill is also close to a discovery trail of biodiversity within 7 hectares of grassland. There are animations in the year (reading, writing workshops, exhibitions, animations on plants or nest boxes, producers market…). A boutique allows you to discover local products.
