HOLY-ANNE DE NOHANT CHURCH
Go there and contact
This modest, typically Berrichian church is located on the square, just a few steps from the author's home. It is available every day in season at the opening hours of the tourist office. It was under his gusiillage (or caquetor) that they used to gather together to shelter, at the entrance of the building. This is the best known church in the country of La Châtre, since George Sand came there. Frescoes, discovered in 2014, date from the Middle Ages. They have been restored and added interest to this building.
