The Saint-Etienne de Paulnay church dates from the twelfth century. It is Romanesque style. Its facade is decorated with many sculpted motifs (birds, sirens, plants). The interior is remarkable with its paintings of the XIV century. A beautiful calendar shows the work of the fields over the seasons. The paintings are well preserved and we fully recognize the size of the vine, the cracking, the harvest… Hell and a beautiful Christ in the majesty are also represented in this small church.
