OFFICE DE TOURISME-MUSEES
The office is organising a discovery of a great part of the history of Reuilly, with the traditional culture of the vine.
This Tourist Office is also the seat of several museums: that of vine and wine and that devoted to the local painter Paul Surtel, that of the Champagne berrichonne and the one devoted to the burglar Marius Jacob. The visit is free and complimentary. It can be commented upon upon request. You will discover in one place much of the history of Reuilly: the traditional culture of the vine and a vigneronne house, two illustrious characters. Paul Surtel (1893-1985) is from Reuilly. He also lived in southern France and North Africa. He was influenced by Fernand Maillaud. Marius Jacob (1879-1954), an anarchist and burglar, served as a model for Arsène Lupin. He finished his life in Reuilly.
