LEATHER AND PARCHMENT MUSEUM
This small museum presents the activity that has made the city famous, the work of the skins. It traces the evolution of techniques and displays beautiful models, reconstructions and tools (sewing machines). Raw lamb and goat skins are processed, after no less than 20 operations, a very soft leather used by the great couturiers is produced. Annie Laurent-Dupuet's parchment object creation workshop is located in the same building. She makes her creations in front of the visitor and sells them in the shop. Possibility to make decoration workshops in parchment on reservation.
