Le Vin'lencay is first and foremost a family affair, with the Chesneau family taking over an old restaurant that had been closed for two years in 2022. While Luc and Camille are busy in the kitchen, Florence is in charge of the dining room.
The restaurant offers bistronomic cuisine based on local seasonal produce, as well as a wine bar. Numerous theme evenings are also organized throughout the year.
As for the dining room, it is decorated with numerous paintings, which vary throughout the year, according to the exhibitions on offer.

Open all year round. Closed Wednesday and Thursday. Friday to Tuesday lunchtime from 12pm to 1:30pm and evening from 7pm to 8:30pm. Menus from €24 to €38. Children's menu: €13. Wine by the glass. Wine and food pairings €7 per glass. Groups welcome (reservations required).

Le Vin'lençay is a family-run bistro and wine bar just a stone's throw from Valençay castle. For lunch or dinner in a warm atmosphere, the chefs invite you to share a convivial moment around traditional, home-cooked French cuisine. They serve tasty dishes concocted with succulent recipes based on fresh produce from the short circuit. In doing so, they give pride of place to local producers. For example, you can have salmon tataki with avocado, pickled onions and sesame seeds. Fish dishes with broccoli flan, cucumber condiments and combava sauce are also available, depending on availability. For dessert, let yourself be tempted by poached peach and sorbet, accompanied by hazelnut and verbena streusel. Enjoy your meal with free wifi access, in an air-conditioned dining room that can seat up to 40 people. Enjoy a plate of three Jacquin cheeses or Valençay red wine jelly.
