SAINT-AIGNAN CHURCH

Church with a simple nave vaulted with a wooden barrel dating from the 12th century in Val-Fouzon.
It features a simple nave with a 12th-century wooden barrel vault, a choir covered with flamboyant ogives and a 15th-century flat chevet. The building was remodeled after the Hundred Years' War.
But the main attraction of the building is not its exterior, but rather its interior! Inside, you'll find magnificent stained-glass windows and murals created in the 19th century. Recently restored, they lend a unique cachet to this Saint-Aignan church, which may appear "classic" from the outside.
