Huge campsite in a haven of peace, in Azay-le-Rideau, wooded and equipped, ideal for cyclists.

What a pleasure to stay in the historic village of Azay-le-Rideau! This stopover is all the more pleasant as the municipal campsite offers nomadic holidaymakers a real haven of peace. Located on the banks of the Indre river, the campsite is huge, very wooded and fully equipped (sanitary facilities, service area for motorhomes, table tennis, swimming pool and free access to tennis). From here, you are 500 m from the town centre and 3 minutes walk from the castle. Notice to cyclists who take the Loire à Vélo route, but also to all those who love Touraine and camping!

un cadre magnifique avec une prestation basse !
surper cadre gâché par un accueil désagréable (on sent que l'on dérange) .... on a fait 3 autres campings dans le coin avec une bonne réception des clients et tente non ou peu nettoyé (ils restaient des pâtes)

Cadre magnifique mais sanitaires sales!
Quel dommage de ne pas entretenir ce beau lieu.
En période de COVID 19 vous fermez des blocs; 1 seul bloc où tout le monde est regroupé et ménage déplorable! Pas de savon; pas de nettotage fait ou = 0! Vous faîtes un peu à 9h30 quand on arrive au bloc! Habituellement ménage fait tôt puis dans la journée...
Tous les campeurs se plaignaient!
Et la barrière fermée le soir alors que nous n'avons pas de badge! Comment faire si avons besoin de sortir pour urgence?
